The Promise

For the last ten years, my husband and I have struggled to understand our "baby story."  The only thing that keeps us going is-The Promise.  By that I mean, the promise that God has spoken to both of us that we WILL have children together.  At times it hard to explain to family and friends when we barely understand.  Yet, we've held on.  There have been times when we tried to stray or take matters into our own hands, but it never worked out-failed adoption, medical trauma, denied bank loans, etc.  Yet, there God was, with open arms, reminding us that He has a plan unlike the one we ever imagined.  I came across the following picture on another blogger's site and felt this summed up my thoughts.  Please be encouraged dear ones and know there is a Promise for you too! ~Kassandra
